Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary

Calling all artists of all skill levels! We are partnering with the amazing Ashley Gaboury to bring you a wolfdog sketching class in August! This class will take place inside our Galatea Intro Tour structure, which allows you to sketch Meeka and Atka while seeing them up close and personal. Ashley will be providing instruction for sketching the two from a reference, and this will be paired with a mini Intro tour!

This is a semi-private class with a 15-person capacity session. Seating is available inside the wheelchair accessible enclosure, and the age limit for the class is a minimum of 12 years.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Sketching instruction from Ashley Gaboury in drawing Meeka and Atka from reference
  • Sketching supplies
  • Mini Intro Tour
  • Sanctuary Walk Tour

The run time of the class is 1.5 hours in length. The Sanctuary Walk is available before and after your class as well!

This is an instructional class in which your teacher will take you through the process of sketching two wolfdogs, Meeka and Atka. Supplies will be provided to set you up for success in this drawing course, and you are welcome to take your creation home with you. Additionally, we will be sketching inside our Intro Tour structure, which is located in Meeka and Atka's enclosure. This allows us to be with the two wolfdogs for the duration of the class and enjoy an educational mini-tour after the session. Once your class is complete, you are welcome to hang out at the Sanctuary for the rest of the day, and walk our pathways to view our other rescues.
