Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery is thrilled to announce its fourth annual Art in the Park paint out on May 20th-24th, 2025. This festival is part of the Come Paint Alberta arts festival circuit, which showcases the beauty of Alberta's landscapes and promotes the art of plein air painting.
The Art in the Park plein air paint out, held in collaboration with the Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation (GRPF), will take place on May 20th-24th, 2025. It will feature local artists painting "en plein air," providing a unique opportunity for attendees to witness the creative process in action. The festival aims to create a welcoming and diverse atmosphere, showcasing the vibrant Alberta arts scene on the GRPF 3200-acre park.
The Art in the Park paint out is open to the public.
Participating plein air artists can register for Art in the Park through the Route 22 Gallery website, gaining exclusive access to artist perks, including an opportunity to sell their plein air artworks in the Wet Paint Sale & Soirée.
Art enthusiasts and collectors will have the opportunity to purchase original plein air paintings created during the weekend at the Wet Paint Sale & Soirée, hosted at Route 22 Gallery in Cochrane on Saturday, May 24th, 4 pm to 8 pm.
