This session with dr. linda manyguns delves into a crucial period of change for Indigenous peoples between 1860 and the early 1900s. Uncover the stories behind population changes, the introduction of agriculture, and the complex process of treaty signings that dramatically altered the landscape and lives of Indigenous communities.

This program is part of the "Unpacking the Past, Understanding the Present" series by dr. linda manyguns and is made possible by an ethnocultural grant provided by the Government of Alberta. This series will take place on the eighth of each month from June to October.
