In partnership with the SLS centre and Instructed by Village of Play, Brain Bloomers is a transformative new program designed to help youth ages 6-14 develop and practice critical Executive Functioning (EF) skills, that go beyond academics and open play.

Rooted in neuroscience-backed learning strategies, the program provides a fun and inclusive coaching environment for kids to build with intention, emotional intelligence skills essential to success in school, life and prep them to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing world.

The program focuses on 9 core life-ready skills, helping children grow with coaching practice through play in:
* Emotional Regulation
* Impulse Control
* Working Memory
* Self-Awareness & Self-Monitoring
* Goal-Directed Persistence
* Organization
* Planning & Prioritization
* Task Initiation,
* Cognitive Flexibility

How the Program Works: Each Brain Bloomers class is a 60-minute, play-focused session tailored specifically to Executive Functioning. The curriculum is structured as a 9-week rotation, where participants engage, learn and practice all 9 core EF skills in a social group setting. To make learning engaging, each skill has a unique, fun theme. The program is delivered through a 3-Tiered learning model and offers 3 progressive levels per age group, ensuring that each child receives targeted tools and supports that are right for them.
