There's a Christmas wedding in Juniper Creek and Ed Brewer wouldn't miss it for the world, even if he has to travel all the way from the east coast. He's the best man, after all--best man to his best friend and sharing that honour with his best brother. If he's really the best, why has everyone only been hearing the worst? His lifestyle was unsustainable, and he knows it, but it's hard to keep believing things can be different when no one else believes with you. Meghan Charlton's got her sights set on better things to come--landing her dream job as manager at Two Jewel's Bed and Breakfast. She couldn't refuse the chance to be the lead server at the new owner's wedding. It's a golden opportunity to turn her ambitions into reality. Too bad she's falling for the best man at the same time. A relationship with him would be unsustainable, and she knows it, but it's hard to believe they don't have some kind of future together, even if no one else can see it. What holds more weight--landing the perfect job, or finding the love of your life?

Join local author, Tracey Retallack, as she explores the themes of renewal and reinvention in connection with 'Golden', her second book in the Juniper Creek romance series.
