5th Annual Cochrane Pumpkin Lantern Festival

Welcome to this fun and free community event organized by Cochane High and local area schools. There are many ways to participate in this event. Individuals, businesses and groups can show their passion and community spirit by carving a pumpkin to Light up the Ranche pathway for the attendees to enjoy. Last year, almost 300 pumpkins light the pathway. You may also consider entering your pumpkin in the contest. There are prizes in all categories; 12 and under, 13-17, 18 years and over, Business and Group. Great door prizes as well! Come with your friends, family and neighbours to enjoy a magical evening of student musical performances, yummy s'mores, hot drinks, and a walk along the Pumpkin Trail. Grilled, WannaWafel and SpudMobeel Food Trucks will be onsite to satisfy your food cravings! Enjoy live carving demonstrations by Brian Widhal of Widhal Wood Craft.
