OPEN HOUSE - If you're looking for a great activity for youth (boys & girls) ages 12-18, please consider the Cochrane Army Cadets. The program is FREE and provides amazing opportunities for youth to learn so many useful skills. We're not only about "army"; there's so much more to the program. Some of the focuses include: learning leadership, teamwork, bush fieldcraft (camp/field skills), map & compass, abseiling (repelling), and physical fitness. Summer camps are a bonus too - not only are they free (because the Cadets is actually "on training"), they get paid!
If you'd like to learn more about the program and the 2512 KOCR Cochrane Army Cadets, please come out to our upcoming Open House on Tuesday December 10, 6:30pm-8:30pm, at the Cochrane Event Centre in town (across from McDonald's). We’ll have plenty for you to see – the Cadets are looking forward to showcasing their skills with demonstrations, displays, and some interactive activities. EVERYONE is welcome!
